Dr. Barker is a laparoscopic Bariatric surgeon with over 6 years experience. He offers both the Lap Band and the Laparoscopic Roux-EN-Y Gastric Bypass.
Dr. Barker began his undergraduate studies at Southwest Texas State University and completed them at Eastern New Mexico University, where he graduated magna cum laude. He also received a Loan Star scholarship and was named an outstanding senior biology student. Dr. Barker completed his medical education, internship, and general surgery residency at Texas Tech University School of Medicine.
Dr. Barker is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is affiliated with the American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, Dallas County Medical Association, and American Bariatric Society. He is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and completed a preceptorship sponsored by the American Society of Bariatric Surgery.

Dr. Davidson is the Medical Director of Bariatric Surgery, Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas and a member of the American Society for Bariatric Surgery
Dr. Davidson is board certified in general surgery. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed his internship at the Hennepin County General Hospital and a general surgery residency at the University of New Mexico. Dr. Davidson attended a vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Tennessee.
Since the start of his program in November 2002, Dr. Davidson has done hundreds Roux-en-y gastric bypass surgeries (95% using laparoscopic techniques) and close to 800 total bariatric cases in the course of his career. He also performs Lap-Band® surgery, sleeve gastrectomy and revisions on selected patients.
